Client Code of Conduct
1. Purpose
Aim & Focus Business Solutions (“Aim & Focus”) is committed to providing a professional, welcoming, safe and respectful environment for everyone who uses our facilities and services.
This Client Code of Conduct (“Code”) establishes the standards of behaviour expected of clients, members, guests and other individuals using Aim & Focus premises, workspaces, meeting rooms and related services.
2. Scope
This Code applies to all clients, members and their guests while:
•    accessing or using Aim & Focus premises;
•    using private offices, coworking areas, meeting rooms, common areas or other shared spaces;
•    using Aim & Focus equipment, furniture, technology or other resources;
•    participating in activities or events at the premises; or
•    interacting with Aim & Focus employees, contractors, other clients or visitors.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that any guests they bring onto the premises comply with this Code.
3. Respectful Conduct
All individuals are expected to treat employees, clients, members, guests, contractors and visitors with dignity, courtesy and respect.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, bullying, abusive language or other disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Aim & Focus is committed to maintaining an environment consistent with its Human Rights Policy and applicable human rights legislation.
4. Respectful Use of Shared Spaces
Aim & Focus is a shared professional environment. Clients and guests are expected to use the premises in a manner that respects the ability of others to work and conduct business.
This includes:
•    maintaining reasonable noise levels;
•    using designated spaces for their intended purposes;
•    keeping shared and common areas clean and orderly;
•    respecting meeting room and workspace bookings;
•    returning shared spaces to an appropriate condition after use;
•    respecting the personal space and property of others; and
•    avoiding conduct that unreasonably interferes with another person’s use or enjoyment of the premises.
5. Use of Property, Furniture and Equipment
Aim & Focus property, furniture, equipment and other resources must be used responsibly and for their intended purposes.
Clients must not intentionally or negligently damage, alter, remove or misuse Aim & Focus property.
Any damage, malfunction or safety concern involving the premises, furniture or equipment should be reported to Management as soon as reasonably possible.
Clients may be responsible for costs associated with damage caused by their misuse or the misuse of their guests, subject to applicable agreements and law.
6. Health, Safety and Emergency Procedures
Clients and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports a safe environment and to comply with applicable health, safety and emergency instructions.
Aim & Focus operates within leased premises and follows the emergency and evacuation procedures established by the landlord or building management.
In an emergency, clients and guests must follow applicable evacuation procedures and instructions provided by Aim & Focus, building management or emergency personnel.
Hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents or injuries occurring on the premises should be reported to Management promptly.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
Aim & Focus is a shared business environment. Clients are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others using the premises.
Clients must not intentionally access, photograph, record, copy, disclose or interfere with another client’s confidential information, documents, conversations, property or workspace without authorization.
Clients are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect their own confidential information and belongings while using shared spaces.
8. Security and Access
Clients must use building and workspace access privileges responsibly.
Keys, access codes, credentials or other means of accessing the premises must not be shared with unauthorized individuals.
Clients must not permit unauthorized individuals to access restricted areas and must comply with reasonable security procedures established by Aim & Focus or building management.
Any lost key, compromised access credential or security concern should be reported to Management promptly.
9. Guests
Clients are responsible for the conduct of guests they invite onto the premises.
Guests must comply with this Code and any applicable building, safety and security requirements.
Aim & Focus reserves the right to require a guest to leave the premises where their conduct is inconsistent with this Code or creates a safety, security or operational concern.
10. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is not permitted on Aim & Focus premises:
•    harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation or threatening behaviour;
•    violence or conduct that creates a reasonable safety concern;
•    deliberate or reckless damage to property;
•    theft or unauthorized use of another person’s property;
•    unauthorized access to restricted areas;
•    excessive or disruptive noise or behaviour;
•    conduct that unreasonably interferes with another client’s business or use of the premises;
•    smoking or vaping except in areas where expressly permitted by law and building rules; and
•    illegal activity or use of the premises for an unlawful purpose.
11. Reporting Concerns
Clients are encouraged to report concerns regarding inappropriate conduct, safety, security or use of the premises to Management.
Aim & Focus will review concerns and determine an appropriate response based on the nature and circumstances of the matter.
12. Non-Compliance
Aim & Focus reserves the right to take reasonable action where an individual fails to comply with this Code.
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the conduct, action may include a verbal or written warning, restriction of access to certain facilities or services, removal from the premises, or suspension or termination of services in accordance with the applicable client or service agreement.
Serious safety concerns or suspected unlawful activity may be referred to the appropriate authorities where warranted.
13. Review
This Code will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to reflect operational, facility or legislative changes.
